Knots & Weavers is built on the belief that every home deserves beauty, comfort, and dignity. Our rugs are designed to carry tradition, culture, and quality into living spaces worldwide. As a halal-conscious brand, we maintain the highest standards of honesty, fairness, and lawful conduct. We work only with suppliers who share these values.

This Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) outlines our expectations. Failure to comply may result in removal of products from our platforms and, in serious cases, suspension or termination of your Knots & Weavers supplier account.

Core Requirements

One Listing Per Product
Suppliers must create one unique listing per product. Duplicate listings, identical imagery, or misleading product content are strictly prohibited.

One Account Per Supplier
Operate only one selling account unless Knots & Weavers approves an exception for legitimate business purposes.

Accurate Business and Product Information
Provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date business and product details.

Follow Product Guidelines
All supplied products must meet our standards: no discriminatory content, no haram imagery or messaging, and no infringement on intellectual property.

Provide a Great Customer Experience
Products must arrive on time, damage-free, and meet customer expectations. Pricing must remain fair and competitive.

Respect Customer Relationships
Suppliers may not contact customers directly or manipulate reviews.

Sell Safe, Compliant, and Lawful Products
Products must comply with local and international laws, safety standards, and halal principles. Items tied to alcohol, gambling, usury (riba), or unethical practices are strictly prohibited.

Ethical and Socially Responsible Business Practices
Suppliers must uphold labor and human rights, use lawful sourcing, and respect halal values in production and distribution.

Comply with Applicable Laws and Knots & Weavers Policies
This includes anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and full compliance with halal trade requirements.

Policies and Standards for a Superior Customer Experience

We expect suppliers to deliver excellent quality, timely fulfillment, and accurate listings. We continuously review performance metrics including reviews, returns, delivery rates, and complaints. Pricing must remain transparent and free of unfair practices such as price gouging.

Product Listings, Accounts, Insurance, Customer Contact and Reviews

  • Only one unique listing per product.

  • Only one supplier account unless approved.

  • Maintain valid business registration and insurance coverage.

  • Do not contact or market to Knots & Weavers customers directly.

  • Do not manipulate reviews through incentives, automation, or false claims.

Compliance, Safety, and Halal Standards

Suppliers must observe all Knots & Weavers policies and all applicable laws.
Products must be lawful, safe, and aligned with halal standards. This means:

  • No materials or processes involving alcohol, pork, or haram substances.

  • No financing structures involving interest (riba).

  • Ethical sourcing with clear chain of custody documentation.

All packaging and product information must be accurate, clear, and free of references to unrelated retailers or marketplaces.

Labor and Human Rights

  • No forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking.

  • Respect workers’ dignity, health, and safety.

  • Provide fair wages and hours in line with local laws.

  • No discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, or ethnicity.

Environmental Sustainability

Suppliers should minimize waste, adopt sustainable packaging, and protect natural resources. We prioritize suppliers who support eco-friendly and ethical production.

Knots & Weavers’ Right to Audit

We may conduct audits, announced or unannounced, to ensure compliance. Suppliers must provide requested documents within 48 hours. Non-compliance may lead to corrective action, suspension, or termination.
